1983

Humble Beginning

Since 1983 our soft and delicious Pitas have used the same high-quality ingredients. Pitas became a staple of many households across the Wasatch Front. This set in motion a new wave of commercial baking of Pita Pockets, Mountain Bread, and other ethnic flatbreads in Utah.

1989

Bagels introduced to Utah

As Papa Pita continued to grow so did the demand for new products. Bagels were becoming popular in other parts of the country and so Papa Pita started producing bagels in Utah. Today, Bubba’s line not only includes Bagels but also Skinny Bagels and English Muffins.

2001

Tortillas Join The Family

Utah has always been a place of a distinct diverse culture. As Utah’s population expanded so did the desire for tortillas. Papa Pita expanded their product lines to produce healthy, soft, and delicious white, whole wheat tortillas and a variety of flavored wraps as wraps were becoming more popular in American Cuisine.

2009

Healthy Made Delicious

In an initiative to produce healthier products, Papa Pita created a complete line of All Natural, NON-GMO, No High Fructose Corn Syrup, USDA Organic bread, buns, tortillas, bagels, muffins, and flatbreads. 2011

State of the Art Facility

With growing sales and a facility that spans more than 200,000 square feet and includes 25 truck bays, we have been able to continue to grow and advance new products.

2019

Exceptional Growth

To better serve the customers who enjoy our products. We built an efficient distribution center with advanced technology to better serve our stores and added an additional 100,000 square feet of space to quickly get the product to where it needs to go.
